Meet Your Local Seville Tour Guides

Our Seville food tours are led by people who were raised on tapas, sherry, and the art of a long, unhurried meal. Market regulars, flamenco lovers, and neighborhood storytellers who know which tiled bar has the best tortilla and where to find the coldest manzanilla in town. They share Seville the way sevillanos live it — with warmth, pride, and the unshakeable belief that there's always time for one more tapa.

I was born and raised in beautiful Seville, a city full of life, tradition, and flavor. I’m proud to share its charm and secrets with curious travelers from around the world.
My favorite dish? Definitely papas aliñás! This simple yet delicious potato salad brings back so many childhood memories.
What I love most is walking through Seville’s lively neighborhoods, discovering hidden corners, and watching the city come alive with music, tapas, and flamenco.

After living in the US and Italy for a couple of years in each country, I am glad to be back showing new people my hometown.
My favourite Spanish dish is the Tortilla de patatas. I can never get enough, and love trying all the different versions of it around the city!
As a local tip, I would suggest hitting a rooftop bar for the golden hour. Sevilla tends to have great temperature and weather all year long so it’s likely to be fabulous

Frequently Asked Questions

General Tour Information

Is a food tour in Seville worth it?

Absolutely, a Seville food tour is an essential experience for any visitor to Andalucia. As the heart of Andalusian cuisine, Seville offers an incredible culinary journey through authentic tapas bars and local neighborhoods like the vibrant Triana district. With a knowledgeable local guide leading your walking tour, you’ll discover the best food in Seville while experiencing the city’s rich gastronomic traditions. From sampling traditional dishes like montadito de pringá and espinacas con garbanzos to sipping the unique vino de naranja, a Seville food tour provides an immersive local food experience that showcases why this city is considered a culinary gem of southern Spain.

What food is Seville famous for?

Seville is celebrated for its distinctive Andalusian cuisine and vibrant tapas culture. The city’s signature dishes include the beloved montadito de pringá (a hearty pork sandwich), tender solomillo al whisky, and the refreshing zanahorias aliñadas (marinated carrots). Local food enthusiasts flock to tapas bars throughout Seville neighborhoods to enjoy espinacas con garbanzos (spinach with chickpeas) and the famous serranito sandwich. The city’s culinary scene is perfectly complemented by local beverages like the refreshing Cerveza Cruzcampo and the traditional vino de naranja (orange wine), making Seville a paradise for food lovers seeking authentic Andalusian flavors.

What’s included in the price of the food tour?

All food and drinks, as well as your professional local guide are included in the price you pay for the tour. No hidden charges or upsells here.

How long are the tours?

Our Seville tours range in length from 3 to 3.5 hours.

What neighborhoods or areas do the tours cover?

Each tour’s area can be found listed as its “location”. You might explore Santa Cruz, Alfalfa, or Triana!

What is the group size?

Accessibility & Safety

We are committed to providing a great experience for all of our guests, so if you require a private tour to be suitable for children or seniors, please get in touch and we can create a bespoke experience for you.

Are the tours wheelchair/stroller accessible?

Please note that some of our tours involve areas with limited accessibility and are not wheelchair/stroller accessible. For assistance and alternative option, please contact us. We’re dedicated to providing a great experience for all our guests!

What should I wear?

There is no dress code on our tours, however it’s recommended to wear a good pair of shoes (these are walking tours, after all!) and be prepared for the elements, even though most of our stops are indoors.

Are tourists welcome in Seville?

Yes, absolutely. There’s a Spanish concept of duende, the mysterious power of a performance to move you deeply. It speaks to the soul of Andalusia, and it’s a feeling we believe every visitor should experience in Seville.

You’ll find that spirit of duende from locals when you connect with the city respectfully. It’s found when you support the family-run tapas bars in Triana, respect the silence during a flamenco performance, and wander the beautiful, quiet courtyards of the Santa Cruz quarter. This is the authentic Seville experience.

It’s this connection we create on our Eating Europe tours. We step away from the crowds and take you to the places locals truly love, introducing you to the people behind the food and the stories that make this city one of a kind.

Tour Experience & Expectations

Will the guide speak my language?

Our guides are all fluent in English, and of course speak Spanish as well. For requests for tours in other languages, please contact us.

Can I take photos during the tour?

Yes! You are welcome to take photos and videos of the food and scenery throughout your tour. If you would explicitly like to get photos of fellow guests or your guide, we kindly ask that you get their permission first.

Do I need to tip the guide?

Tips for our lovely guides are not required, but they are appreciated!

Will we visit the same places as other tours?

No. While some tours may have one or two stops which other groups visit (can’t help it if they’re popular!), Eating Europe are proud that the majority of stops on every Seville tour are restaurants and vendors who work exclusively with us.

Do you offer private or custom tours?

We do! Please see the “Book a Private Tour” option or contact us, and we can arrange a private or custom Seville tour to suit your specific needs.
